2011 Braehead Open Mixed Doubles: November 15-16 (Evenings)

Braehead Curling rink are delighted to announce that the Braehead Open Mixed Doubles will take place on Tuesday 15th and Wednesday 16th November.

Total Prize money - £750
Entry £80

Aims to give you an opportunity to experience the challenges and delights of the Mixed Doubles format, which gives really interesting and aggressive curling, with lots of stones in play.
This event is in its 3rd year, and is being run on its successful format which gives each team 5 games of at least 5 ends each.

Games are played between 6pm and 10:30pm.


We have had 16 entries for the last 2 events, and this year we would like to have twenty four teams from all over Scotland and beyond if possible.
It's first come first served!

Good practice for the Scottish Mixed Doubles in December.

There is a prize of £500 for the winning team, with additional prizes for runners up, 3rd and 4th places, best Braehead team, and best under 25, thanks to very generous sponsorship.

If you do not have a partner then we may be able to find you someone - so its possible to enter on your own.
