About the Club
71 members at the moment, with 6 non playing members. All male The Club is known for its friendly attitude especially to new members. New Member Policy The playing positions are fixed at the beginning of the season Our members start as reserves no matter their ability and move up into a team chronologically. Social Events During the season we arrange at least four bonspiels and other rinks and take part in friendly games with other clubs. Actively Seeking New Members Yes Training and Development Initial on the ice training for non curlers and then the Club takes advantage of Braehead Sweeps and the Virtual Club to bring members on. We have a Thursday afternoon league for beginners which allows some coaching and the opportunity to play in all the team positions. |
