Eric Gallagher, Director of Cardwell Garden Centre presented the winning trophy to Hannah and her team of Abi Brown, Lauren Gray and Jennifer Dodds.
This well-established competition continues to grow and now thrives under the continuing sponsorship of the Cardwell Garden Centre.
The event was held from 5th to 7th October and featured a field of 32 teams comprising an impressive array of winners at national and international level together with some aspiring teams pitching in against these more illustrious names in the game.
A high standard of competition was observed throughout and the final game featured Hannah Fleming's rink against that of Murray Young. An 8-4 final score does not reflect a close game that went the distance to decide the outcome.
