The Braehead Curling Development Group’s Junior Christmas Bonspiel was held on Sunday 28th December 2014 and was a huge success. It provided junior curlers from Braehead and beyond with the opportunity to curl for free, improve their skills and be coached by Team Muirhead.
The BCDG’s junior scene is thriving thanks to the hard work of the coaching staff and the junior committee with the Christmas Bonspiel being an excellent way to round off a strong year. Team Muirhead very kindly gave up their time to provide the juniors with on ice coaching and a chance to ask questions, sign autographs and take pictures. They also, very generously, provided the BCDG with five Team Muirhead training tops to use as prizes for the juniors.
Junior curling continues to develop at the Braehead Curling Rink and the BCDG’s junior program is set to go from strength to strength in the New Year. Session times and dates can be found here.
The BCDG would like to thank all involved for contributing to such an enjoyable event and look forward to seeing everyone in 2015!
