
The Braehead Super League continued on Wednesday 11th September 2013 with two games played.
This week saw another of the Super League’s newest addition, Team Schreiber, get their campaign underway in the Braehead Super League. Team Schreiber with Stuart Taylor, Gregor Cannon, Andrew Ballantyne and Alasdair Schreiber took on the experienced Team Sheddon. It was a good start for the League’s new team with a single at the first end and an unexpected steal of two shots at the second end to give Team Schreiber a 3 – 0 early lead. Team Shedden fought their way back into the game to close the game to 3 – 2. Team Taylor took control of the game with a decisive 3 points in the 5th end and run out comfortable 6 – 3 winners.
Stuart, Gregor and Alasdair are all members of the Royal Club Academy (Silver). As Team Taylor along with Ross Fraser from Inverness the Team have their eyes set on a good season ahead and are using the participation in the Braehead Super League as a good opportunity for the team to play competitive games together.

This week also saw Team Naismith secure another good win against Team Storrie by a score of 7 – 6 and now tops the League Table.
