Yes you read correctly, Braehead Super League got started on Wednesday 28th August 2013. The Super League is in its 2nd year following on from what proved to be a very successful competition last season. This season will see ten teams compete for the title of Braehead Super League Champions.
The results from Wednesday 28th August 2013 saw two of last season’s play-off team’s secure comfortable win in their opening games. Team Walker, last year’s champions, with Stuart Walker, Gary Cannell, Alan Hannah and new team member Ross Paterson saw off John Summers and his team by 11 – 4. Team Macfarlane defeated Team Shedden by 9 – 4, with Gary securing a useful 4 shots in the 3rd end to take control of the game.
