Braehead curlers were delighted to host 16 Canadian tourists at Braehead on Sunday 5th October.
The Canadians are from Vancouver and are visiting various rinks around Scotland this week, and have already had a very successful couple of games at Murrayfield and Stranraer.
8 mixed teams played each other.
Braehead were skipped by Jack Steven, Ann Harvie, Charles Jackson, and Gary Macfarlane.
Braehead quickly came to terms with the excellent curling ice, and took an early lead which they never relinquished.

Brooms were stacked after the 4th end, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the whisky and pink champagne, generously provided by Leslie Ingram-Brown, who also took the photographs.
The tourists seemed to cope with their alcohol slightly better than the Scots, and rallied their score, but not enough and Braehead won by a good margin.
We retired for an excellent lunch and loads of chat and good socialising.
Caroleen Clarke and her team are to be congratulated for their excellent organising and a great day, which everyone enjoyed.
